GGGG TRANSPORTEBack

General terms and conditions

Our transport services are offered to businesses. Depending on the order, transport may be performed by GG Transporte or a commissioned transport partner. Individually agreed conditions take precedence.

1. Scope and order

These terms apply to transport orders agreed between GG Transporte and the customer. Individually confirmed details in the quotation or order confirmation take precedence. An order is concluded by binding acceptance of the quotation; later changes require confirmation by GG Transporte.

2. Shipment information and service

The customer must provide complete and accurate addresses, dates, dimensions, weight, quantities, cargo characteristics and special requirements. Additional work or delay caused by incorrect, incomplete or subsequently changed information may be charged separately.

3. Packaging, loading and unloading

Unless expressly agreed otherwise, the customer is responsible for transport-safe packaging, correct labelling, safe access and timely loading and unloading. The goods must be ready for safe collection and carriage by the agreed vehicle.

4. Loading and unloading time; waiting charges

At every individual loading or unloading point, 60 minutes are included for vehicles with a permissible gross vehicle weight up to and including 3.5 t, and 120 minutes for vehicles over 3.5 t. After the free period, waiting time is charged for each commenced 15-minute interval. The rate is EUR 35.00 net per hour (EUR 8.75 per 15 minutes) up to and including 3.5 t, and EUR 75.00 net per hour (EUR 18.75 per 15 minutes) over 3.5 t, plus statutory VAT. Time starts when the vehicle's arrival and readiness to load or unload are verifiably reported, but not before the agreed appointment time. If the vehicle arrives late, time starts on actual arrival. If no appointment time was agreed, time starts with the verifiably reported arrival and readiness. Waiting charges apply only where the excess time is caused by circumstances outside the risk sphere of GG Transporte or the carrier used, and are calculated separately for every loading and unloading point.

5. Dangerous and special goods

Dangerous goods, temperature-controlled goods, valuables and other goods requiring special handling must be fully and lawfully declared before the order is placed. Required documents, labels and instructions must be supplied in good time. No carriage obligation exists without confirmed approval.

6. Additional services and later instructions

Additional stops, detours, loading assistance, tail-lift use, repeated delivery attempts and other later instructions or unannounced services are not included unless expressly confirmed and may be charged according to the actual additional work.

7. Proof of delivery and obstacles

Delivery may be documented by a signed proof of delivery (POD), digital status or another suitable record. If delivery is refused, the recipient is unavailable or another transport or delivery obstacle occurs, GG Transporte may request instructions and charge necessary additional costs separately.

8. Prices and payment

All prices are net plus statutory VAT. Invoices are payable without deduction within the payment period stated on the invoice. Approved additional services and waiting charges may be shown separately.

9. Liability

Liability is governed by the mandatory provisions of sections 407 et seq. of the German Commercial Code (HGB) and, for international carriage of goods by road, by the CMR. Mandatory statutory liability rules remain unaffected.
